Brett attended Illinois State University from 1983-88 where he studied corporate finance, world markets, law, advanced financial theory, short-term capital management, economics, accounting and real estate. In 1988 Brett earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and also received a minor in Business Administration. Brett began selling real estate in 1988 when he joined his mother Sande Ellis to form The Ellis Team.
